About Course

A woman’s body has its own rhythm, the monthly cycle and phases of her life, and those are clearly experienced through and in the body. In these special yoga for women classes, the students will learn what and how to practise according to the changing needs of the body and hormones using the method and principles taught at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre.

The teacher Maria has been practising and teaching this yoga for 10 years. She has used her practice to support herself through two pregnancies and two home-births and is passionate about empowering women through yoga.
